InduQuip International B.V. (hereinafter referred to as Induquip, we, us and our) strives for an open and direct attitude towards our relations. In our privacy statement we explain how we manage, share and store your data.
1. Personal information
When we use the term “personal data” in our privacy policy, we mean information that relates to you and with which we can identify you, either directly or in combination with other information we may have. We process your personal data because you use the services of Induquip and/or because you provide them yourself when filling in a contact form on the website induquip.nl / trade fairs and/or when you contact us (in writing).
All personal data will be treated in accordance with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of 25 May 2018.
1.1 Personal data that is processed
We will collect a number of data from you, including Email address – Prefix – Initials – First name – Middle name – Last name – Suffix – Gender – Phone number – Mobile number – Country – Language in order to serve you as best as possible.
We use the contact details you have shared with us to keep you informed about the status of your information request / quotation / order / service / work at your location or other matters that may affect the information request / quotation / order / delivery / installation / maintenance of your order and our agreements.
In addition, we keep you informed about developments within our company, vacancies, product information, changes in e.g. opening hours and promotional activities.
The business purposes for which we use your data include accounting, billing and auditing, credit or other bank verification, fraud screening, security and legal purposes, statistical marketing analysis, system testing, maintenance and development and to comply with our legal obligations (e.g. our obligation to provide your information to government agencies).
1.2 Why do we need your data?
We process your personal data in order to be able to contact you by telephone, to pay a visit and/or to be able to contact you in writing (by e-mail and/or by post). In addition, we can use your personal data in the context of executing an agreement/assignment concluded with you.
1.3 How long do we keep your data?
We do not store your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected.
Retention periods:
- Delete/anonymize within 4 weeks after the right to deletion
- Delete/anonymize after 2 years if no agreement has been reached or 2 years after the last transaction, taking into account warranty periods
The implementation of the retention periods is guaranteed in the ERP system, by means of a task planning system by our administrator.
1.4 Sharing with others
We only share your personal data with third parties if this is necessary for the execution of an agreement with you, or to comply with a legal obligation. Your personal data may be shared with other companies within our group.
1.5 View, modify or delete data
Your data is collected, processed, shared and stored in a secure manner.
You have full access to your personal data and can have corrections made if necessary. You can send a request for access, correction, deletion or objection to info@induquip.nl. We will respond to your request within four weeks at the latest.
1.6 Who is responsible for your data?
Our Privacy Statement applies to personal data that Induquip collects and uses.
References in this Privacy Policy to “Induquip International”, such as “we”, “us” or “our,”
refer to InduQuip International B.V. (a company registered in the Netherlands whose registered office is at Geldermalsen, De Aaldor 24; 4191 PC). We will supervise the collection of your personal data and the purposes for which your personal data is used in accordance with applicable European data protection law.
1.7 Security
We use reliable data networks and our websites are secured with SSL certificates, with firewall and password protections that are standard within the industry. We take the protection of your data seriously and take appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification.
If we disclose your personal data to a third party, we require that this third party has the technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data; however, in some cases we are required by law to transfer your personal data to a third party – such as government agencies – and we have limited control over how the data is protected by this party.
2. Online communication
We only collect data that is provided voluntarily or is required for legal reasons. By filling out and sending a contact form on our websites / fairs, or sending an e-mail, you give us permission to store your personal data and use it for communication purposes.
2.1 Newsletters
The personal data you share with us is also used to inform you by means of our personalized newsletter. We have concluded a processing agreement with an e-mail marketing agency for the sending of our newsletters.
In order to understand how contacts respond to the e-mails and content we send, we use pixels that allow us to find out whether the e-mails are opened and whether the content of our e-mails is displayed in text or html form.
2.2 Mapping website visits
General visitor data is kept on our websites, including the IP address of your computer and the time of the request and data that your browser sends. This data is used for analyses of visitor and click behavior on the website and to improve the functioning of our website. This data is anonymized by Google and is not provided to third parties.
2.3 Google Analytics
In order to optimize our services, we analyze how visitors use our websites, we use technologies such as Google’s tracking software. We cannot identify you based on these technologies. We use software to track patterns in customer traffic and website usage, so that we can develop the design and layout of the website and improve the user experience. The software does not offer us the possibility to
collect personal data. The information thus obtained, including the address of your computer (IP address), is transferred to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Read Google’s privacy policy for more information.
Google uses this information to track how our websites and social media pages are used. Google may provide this information to third parties if Google is legally obliged to do so, or to the extent that these third parties process the information on behalf of Google. We have no influence on this. We have not given Google permission to use Analytics information obtained via our website for other Google services.
3. Updates to our privacy policy
Changes will be made to this privacy statement from time to time, including as part of new European data protection legislation effective 25 May 2018 (the “General Data Protection Regulation”) – we will update this privacy policy and publish any new version on our website.
